Malachi turns 4!

 Malachi is 4 years old!
My handsome son has the "Shillig sneeze when you look at the sun" issue and it happened when I tried to take a quick picture before we headed into church.
The kids had lunch-ables for lunch after church.  It was an exciting party!
 Pinata time!
Yummy cake!
This sweet boy who gets angry way too easy is all mine and I love him.
I keep thinking his passion will help him on the football field someday.
I also think his compliments will mean the world to his wife just like they mean to me.
Today he asked me about the beaches in California and I told him they were cold but very pretty.
He asked, "are they as beautiful as you?"
That's my boy, my Malachi Wes.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
