Gratitude Day 1 and Halloween 2018

We had the most amazing night last night trick-or-treating in our own neighborhood.  We had the full blown neighborhood, walkout your door, and knock on doors experience.  The rain had been steady all day, but we got a reprieve for a couple hours and had a great time.  The movie Beauty and the Beast came out when I was a girl and I always wanted to be her.  My Mom made our costumes instead that year with a clear garbage bag and some balloons Dillon and I were bags of jelly beans at the local church's fall festival.  I am so grateful for my mom still taking us even though she didn't have enough money for "real" costumes that my little girl self wanted.  I am grateful for my husband making my dream come true and it was even better, he was my PRINCE/BEAST!   I am also grateful for wise leaders of our church, who uplift me with quotes like this that I found today.  Kindness conquers all!
