couldn't get enough of Jackie's books and bed when we got to their house.

Saturday night everyone was tuckered out! My mom and Mali Su crashed after eating dinner (with the puppy) and the girls slept the entire 5hours to Jackie and Lincoln's.

(Pictures GALORE b/c I loved the beach day!) While planning our trip to Texas one thing I wanted to do more than ANYTHING was to go to the beach as a family. We rode the ferry over to Galveston Island on the Bolivar Ferry and despite one bad fall by Aimi Lark (resulting in a bloody lip) the ride over went over without any problems. We were able to see the dolphins that follow the ferry as it brings people and cars back and forth. I was so excited to see how they would react to the ocean, sand, and waves. Aimi Lark LOVED it! She walked straight out to the water and sat down in her dress, diaper, and all! We all got changed and spent the day in the sand and sun with my mom, siblings, and the J&L Sarager family. Mali Su played in (and ate) the sand with my mom for the first while and then fell asleep while I was holding her and spent the rest of her time napping on a towel, she was our little sunbather. Friday night we had grilled shrimp and virgin drinks. Jake wanted to make virgin pina coladas, margaritas, and he LOVES grilled shrimp! He insisted on not only peeling them but "de-veining" them and while talking to my mom she told him he was doing a good job b/c I told him the veins were too small and not to worry about it. When we got to TX we were told that Friday Pa Pa Tim and Nephie were babysitting for us to go on a date on Friday. I talked to my best friend and her husband and asked her what we should all do together. We ended up going to a Japanese steakhouse for some good grillin' and sushi! Jake had never been and thoroughly enjoyed our chef and the presentation. He enjoyed it so much he tipped him twice! After lunch we headed over to good ol' Parkdale Mall to walk around. We headed home to find our sweet daughters ready to see us and to find that Pa Pa had put all the bar stools in the garage to keep Aimi Lark safe :) Also Nephie layed down with Mali Su and massaged her back to get her to sleep... talk about cute!

While in TX Aimi lark discovered her love for grass, backyards, and animals. (the mosquitoes loved her as well) We couldn't keep Aimi Lark out of the backyard. It made me look forward to a fenced in yard where she can play to her heart's content. Nephie (short for Stephanie) came out to try and hydrate her but Aimi Lark kept putting her entire mouth around the bottle so Nephie taught her how to drink more efficiently.

THURSDAY 8/28/08 We arrived back from FL at around 5am and went straight to my mom's to drop off Dillon. We spent the day napping on and off to try and recuperate from a day of driving We headed to Vidor and had dinner with the Williamson family and Jake played Wii :) When we got back to Pa Pa Tim's we relaxed a bit before heading off to catch some zzzz

OUR WEDNESDAY (8/27/08) in a NUTSHELL... Woke up at 2am Drove to Bonifay, FL from Beaumont, TX enjoyed spending the day with my Wilhite family ate dinner drove home at 8pm drove all night and arrived to my mom's house early in the morning (Thursday) and spent time with her before she went to work When we got to my grandparents house we were EXHAUSTED to say the least. Mali Su had thrown up all over McDonald's when we stopped for breakfast and the only thing we had accessible was this dress w/o the undershirt and the same for Aimi Lark (minus the vomit) so they looked pitiful but were excited to see family and be out of the car! After getting dressed and playing with Cricket (the dog) and climbing on Papa's bed and off Aimi Lark crashed in front of "Baby Einstein" and this was a first for her b/c she isn't a big TV watcher (unless it is Baby Einstein or the Wiggles and even then it only keeps her attention for a few minutes) While Aimi Lark napped Mali Su enjo...

TUESDAY (8/26) We woke up and had a great bisquit and bacon breakfast. We then spent the day lounging around the house and relaxing. That afternoon we headed to Vidor to meet up with my mom but before doing so we stopped by the Ochoa's and visited my best (girl) friend MARIANNE! We were excited to spend time with her, Jonathan, and Ethan on our first day! Marianne and I are first cousins once removed so Ethan(Marianne's son) and I are second cousins. I drove out to my mom's house in Kountze/Silsbee after meeting up with her in Vidor and spent awhile with her and some of my siblings before I drove back to Beaumont to get a good night's sleep before our drive to FL.
