Our little ELF having so much FUN! Jake gave her a chocolate chip cookie in this outfit... sooo fun to clean up! Uncle Luke gets his stocking! Tonight we gave aimi lark a bath and then enjoyed a family tradition from my family ... opening one present on Christmas Eve and then I made cookies while we all watched "Its a Wonderful Life" This was our first Christmas Eve in our own home and we LOVED IT! We are excited to see family tomorrow!!! The Keetons and the Shilligs got together this afternoon for a soccer game. Aimi Lark and I cheered from the sidelines. Aimi Lark loved watching the game and Jake and Luke played really well! GO SHILLIGS!

I realized this morning as my babies slept that I have not taken a "pregnancy pic" in sometime... so here it is! I am 35 weeks pregnant and I delivered aimi lark when I was 37 weeks so I "could" have this baby in two weeks! but part of me thinks that this daughter is going to take her sweet time and come around 40-41 weeks... So I feel there is an extreme, I could have this baby in 2-6 weeks! kinda crazy how much of a difference that is. We hope y'all have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This morning while getting ready aimi lark has not wanted her morning nap... jake heard her so he said he would get her and I just continued getting ready... I came out and found this site... they are adorable!

these are pictures of aimi lark playing with uncle luke in his room... uncle luke was playing with her while I made dinner the other night and they were so cute together! aimi lark loves him so much... whenever he enters or leaves the room she waves to him and a few times when he is gone she will knock on his bedroom door and whine to be let in but she doesn't realize he isn't there... so cute/sad... we are so excited for uncle luke to get married on saturday and so excited for him and kaylene to get to live together but at times like this I am sad for him to go... maybe aimi lark can go to their house to play :)

This picture is from this past week sometime. Aimi Lark has begun to fall asleep in our arms and JAKE LOVES IT! He absolutely loves for her to fall asleep in his lap or on his shoulder and he can just HOLD HER and CUDDLE HER. She usually pushes him and Luke away when they kiss and hug and cuddle her (I think they can annoy her at times) Aimi Lark is so ADORABLE!

I love my daughter so much! She is in this stage and has been for awhile where she loves to EXPLORE and take things out of where ever they are ONE BY ONE and look at them and move on... She loves to pull things out of drawers, cabinets, the lazy suzan etc. and just look at them... She is a very observant young lady...

We went to Jacque and Lincoln's this past Sunday for dinner and Aimi Lark just loved Brigham's tickle me cookie monster and she just kept hugging it and patting it on the back and she even figured out how to squeeze him just right for him to laugh and vibrate... Children are so SMART! I love it!

Our beautiful daughter had a "photo shoot" in the snow. Jake's sister Audrey has the great talent of taking pictures and I asked her to take some great close-ups of our sweet daughter Aimi Lark. She did so a month ago but the wonderful photo place lost the pictures! so we re-took them on this beautiful snow day. ENJOY! LOOK SNOW! so smiley! Jake and I each opened a present on Saturday night... I mentioned that I really needed tights for church tomorrow and he said that I needed to open a present and I said that I would if he did... we were both so excited over new feet coverings! yay!

on saturday the keetons invited us over to make gingerbread houses. i have never done this before and it turned out to be a fun adventure. i made a church like structure with a candy cane exterior and jake never quite got the hang of it and ended up using elmers glue on his and making a gingerbread factory as he called it... it was a very fun evening... thanks keeton family!

having our second child be another precious daughter is becoming more and more exciting to me! I have honestly not had an opinion either way on what we have but lately I have realized how excited I am for a second DAUGHTER! they are so sweet and precious and I am excited that all Aimi Lark's nice clothing will be reused! Especially this adorable snow suit that cost a fortune... everything now a days seems to...just thought I'd share my excitement for baby girl shillig #2 (we are back to square one with her name...)

I just wanted to write and tell everyone THANK YOU for doing such a great job of keeping our family posted on your family! We LOVE LOVE LOVE to see what everyone is up to and selfishly wish everyone could post DAILY but I too know the joys of a busy life. Thank you again for all the HARD WORK you put into your updates! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I am so excited for CHRISTMAS! my sweet adorable husband took aimi lark and went Christmas shopping for me last night. He came home and said he had no idea how moms with four kids did it! I am amazed myself at those women... I think even with just two babies I will be shopping online a ton more haha... here is a picture before they left... It is so fun to see the presents under the tree and jake and I are actually going to wait and open them CHRISTMAS MORNING this year... this is something we have never done before due to spending holidays with family and last year having aimi lark...so this year we are having our own official SHILLIG 4 CHRISTMAS MORNING!
