Jake's dinner...

Aimi Lark has regressed a bit in the area of sippy cups... she has absolutely no interest in them... I have been able to get her to chew on them in the last couple of days which will hopefully lead to drinking from them b/c I hope to lose the bottle in a month! Also note the crossed feet... she sits so lady like all the time! so cute! I love it!

For some reason when we get the camera out to take Aimi Lark's picture she often does #1 with her finger and sticks out her tongue... who knows why... Jake LOVES this dress and hat... he had fun taking pictures of her in this hat...

December will be a bit busy for us... Luke is getting married this month and my mom is coming for Christmas and Aimi Lark's birthday is this month and I am pregnant so things are busy and exhausting! I am so excited to see so much family again this month! Thank you everyone who came for Thanksgiving and to those who are making the trek again to Utah in December... we cannot wait to see all y'all!

Kenny and marlyse had their baby girl today! yay! 7lbs 7oz and 18" long We are still waiting to find out the final decision on her name...

Me, Jake and Aimi Lark went to the BYU vs Utah game on Saturday. BYU won and Jake and Kenny rushed the field...Something Jake has wanted to do since he was a freshman at BYU back in 1999. He has fulfilled a long-time dream of rushing the BYU field. Aimi Lark was well behaved and even took a nap. Thanks to uncle isaac, aunt kailie and grammy shillig for making aimi lark this warm BYU BLUE hat!

Our Thanksgiving has gone as follows... We had an XBOX night Wed. night with Nate & Ashley and then today we had a great day! First the boys had a turkey bowl followed by a wonderful mean, variety show, and games! yay!

so right now I am about to go make some bread... I enjoy making bread but I don't enjoy cleaning up when I am finished... why does dough seem to stick to everything?? Jake's parents should be here in about 3-4hrs and I am thrilled! I have had all these random thoughts today and sometimes I wish I could remember to write them down because some of them are hilarious! well to me they are... ok i'm off to make bread!

Aimi Lark is 10.5 months old now and she is AMAZING! She is crawling like a pro and pulling up and transfering from one object to another and it looks like walking could be in the near future... sooo CUTE! Last night we were in her room and she was in our room and we hear her cry and Jake goes running to her and while going he says out loud "aimi lark why do you have to be in the pull-up stage" and then Audrey said "you mean the fall down and bruise yourself stage" and it is sooo true! crawling doesn't cause bruises but my child's head is a warzone due to falling all over the place. She is also very intelligent b/c she knows which button is the power button on the remote controls for the TV so she thinks she is so smart b/c she can turn the TVs on and off! Now getting her to watch TV is something that doesn't happen but she likes the "power" the remote gives her haha. This is aimi lark playing with aunt audrey's knitting and her outfit is...

This weekend was great for us! I love when Jake gets on a "de-junking" kick because I already "de-junk" all the time but when he helps it is amazing b/c he is strong and can help me to accomplish a ton more! I am excited for some things to be more organized especially with "26 shilligs" coming in to town (thanks larkie for the 26 shilligs.) On a side note we have decided a name for our baby daughter and want to share it with everyone and once again to follow suit with larkie... if you like it good... if you don't GREAT! so baby shillig #2 will be ZARA CAROLINE SHILLIG (we are still deciding on the spelling of zara) Zara is a name I have loved for awhile and Jake loves it because it is part of "Zarahemla" and I like it because of an LDS poetry/hymn writer. And Caroline is from good ol' me :) ENJOY!

We went out to a pizza place that has a challenge that if you can eat their large deep dish in an hour you get it for free and a gift certificate... When Jake and I found out about this we decided to take Luke to this because he can easily eat us out of house and home. Luke finished in 43 mins and set the record! GO LUKE!

I always love to sneak up on aimi lark and take pictures of her in the moment. In this picture she had been playing in her room for quite some time and I peeked in to check on her and I saw her pulling up on her walker so I took the progression of it all in these three pictures but the funny part is as soon as I walked in the room to praise her I was hit by a wall of STINCH! She had been playing so nicely while filling her diaper... such a sweet girl! Jake calls her mess "swamp poopy" lately... gotta love table food and formula diapers! (only kidding of course)

these are pictures from last week that I wanted to share... Aimi Lark helped me get my makeup on this night and afterwards emptied my makeup bag... such fun!

we had a great evening! jake arranged for 2 parties for me... first we went to dinner at chili's and whoever was able to make it to that came and it was a blast! the keetons, klubers, turners, heaths, sorensons, dahls and my friend johnny williamson and jake's military friend came. THEN after that we headed back to our home for GAMES and there were some from the restaurant and we added the shilligs 2, 5, 7 and the chidisters and the saragers. This was one for the record books. THANK YOU everyone who CALLED, CAME, SENT THINGS ETC. Y'all are all truly amazing for remembering me on my day. THANKS AGAIN!
