Aimi Lark and I will be going to Texas on July 18! We are so excited and we are even more excited that we have a NONSTOP flight! yay! This will be Aimi Lark's first plane trip and first trip to the great state of TEXAS ! I haven't been home since Christmas 2005.... way too long ago! so if you will be in the VIDOR, TEXAS area i want to see you!

we are officially HOMEOWNERS! our loan funded on tuesday and everything has now gone through the recorder/title etc. YAY! we cannot wait to be back in Utah. I will be returning Sept. 5 and jake will return around the 14th of September!!! We hope to see y'all then!

well it turns out i have left my usb cord in some library computer somewhere and now i have no way of finding it and i am too cheap to buy a new one because i know i have one in our storage stuff in MONTEREY but i'm sure i'll break down and buy one between now and september but it is so frustrating using public computers! i always left my usb cord in my computer at home and it never disappeared haha.

Aimi Lark is 6 months old now. She weighs 19lbs 13oz and is 27" long! She had her immunizations on Tuesday evening and didn't even cry... it was quite the opposite because she seemed to think the nurse was the funniest lady in the world because she just kept laughing at her and after each shot aimi lark would look shocked but then the nurse would talk to her and she would laugh again. She did wimper a little cry after the third shot but like i said this nurse was hilarious to aimi lark so the wimper quickly turned to a SMILE!

Well the weatherman said summer began this past Thursday.... but i have to argue that i do not think that SPRING should be in the triple digits!!! so needless to say aimi lark needed some desert appropriate outfits because we are no longer in the wonderful weather of Monterey, CA.

when we go out to dinner aimi lark always loves to "attack" the glass of water ... it is quite a funny site!

We took a family trip to the old copper mining town of BISBEE and we were surprised that we decided to visit on "bisbee pride" weekend... so of course there were not any shortage of rainbow flags flying about. But it was a very fun family outing.

Aimi Lark decided to help me fold laundry and ended up covering herself (with some help from me) with all daddy's SOCKS!

Playing with her feet has become a new game. Jake wondered when she would discover her feet or when she would become flexible enough to do so. Well both have come and she is ADORABLE!

Jake decided to play "dress-up" with Aimi Lark one Sunday morning before church. His socks and his hat... she is only missing her canteen and dog tags...

I love her big blue eyes in this picture and also I love how she plays with her tongue now!
