Cousin play time!

~In the above picture Madilyn kept laying her head in Mali Su's lap . Mali Su got a handful of Madilyn's hair and Madilyn started pulling away while looking at me as to say "HELP ME" but she just pulled away and never got upset or anything... I think she knows Mali Su is a baby and really loves her.
~In the below picture we hear Mali Su laughing hysterically and look in the playroom to find Madilyn bouncing up and down on her knees entertaining Mali Su... SO CUTE!!!

    That is so funny! I'd like to think that Lizzy pulls Victoria's hair because she loves her too.

    The hair pulling thing is interesting. I think Maverik started to shy away from Jordan because she would pull on his fur sometimes. He was smart enough to know that she was a baby and did not mean anything by it, but it was funny to see him turn and run when she came after him! Of course, he always sat by her chair during meals hoping for a morsel just like he did with Aimi Lark. Too funny! Maverik and Jordan seemed to have such a love for each other. Maverik was always "kissing" her!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
