The girls and I met up with my friend, Laura, from church. We got to EPCOT first thing and were one of the first ones through the gate. We headed right over and got fast passes for TEST TRACK. We then headed and met some characters with our friends. Mali Su kissed each of them on the nose. Looking at these pictures now I'm tearing up, thinking how they still find this exciting to hug and meet the characters and I know that this time in their lives, where this is exciting, will slowly fade away. Well, when meeting Mickey isn't the most exciting thing we'll move on to BIG ol' roller coasters at Universal, gotta enjoy life at each stage, right?
Pluto was hilarious!
Such a playful dog!
The people that are this height, to fit in these character suits still gets me, I'm 5'3" so they must be short!
After riding NEMO we checked out the aquariums at the end of the ride. There was a big ball at the bottom of the dolphin tank but Aimi Lark was convinced it was a giant egg of some sort, maybe for a BIG SHARK she said.
At TEST TRACK the girls designed their car.
Well I should say, their truck.
I was videoing them during the ride and had no idea it was going to blast off from 0-60mph at the end. Their reactions were HILARIOUS. Aimi Lark yelling in absolute fear and Mali Su screaming, "THIS IS THE BEST RIDE EVER!" (over and over).
We got to be the people to OPEN UP the Coca Cola store where they have FREE sodas from around the world to test out. Since the girls were the store openers they got "coke smoothies" as Aimi Lark called them.
They got their picture taken and their names to be sent over to Mickey Mouse.
We headed out after a few hours to grab some lunch for the boys and Daddy before his final. We love Jimmy John's sandwiches. The kids DEVOUR them and I love their peppers.
I realized yesterday Jake takes the kids on way more dates than I do and lately I'm realizing that needs to change. I need to split the kids up and spend time with them. I guess maybe I think because I'm with them all each and every day he needs to take them out, but dates are different. Kids are different on dates, their sweet little personalities shine through and I love interacting with them all together each day and on dates. We are so blessed!
