Gratitude Day 9

I am so grateful for energetic children.
Tonight Jake played Rojo (red light) and Verde (green light) with the kids.
It is also practice for when we are in public and need them to stop because they are getting too far ahead, we yell, "ROJO!"
Why am I so grateful for energetic kids you ask?
I think for 
1. it is good for kids to be active
and
2. tucker them out before bedtime 

Tonight Aimi Lark initiated a train and the kids loved it!
They laughed HYSTERICALLY!

In case you were wondering, 
YES we do dress our children and 
YES they do take their clothes off numerous times a day and 
YES we do just give up and stop dressing them at the end of the day.

    I love it! Do they actually stop? I'll have to try it.
    The girls are never dressed either, especially now that Viv can take her own shirt off.

    Oh and today Viv blocked me from walking between two cars. I had to say "abre" to get through. Thanks Dora!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
