22 weeks with baby #4

I interrupt my Georgia posts to post that today I'm
22 weeks.
Not only am I 22 weeks,
 but tonight while eating the most delicious dinner Jake felt baby Solomon move for the first time!
I think this is the most excited I've ever seen him when he was feeling our baby's movement for the first time.  He had his hand at the top on my tummy while we were all eating, where I was feeling movement, and he felt it, his eyes got big and he said loudly that he felt it!
I want to get back to that delicious dinner.  Tonight we had BACK STRAP, my favorite part of deer meat.  It was Jake's first experience and he absolutely LOVED it.  I love sharing my favorites with him and him loving them.
Oh how I love feeling Solomon move!  I know it may mean I'll have one rambunctious boy on my hands, but the fact that I am bonding with this little boy in a way that is brand new to me makes it all worth it.

    That is so exciting! And good to hear... I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and I still only occasionally feel the baby. I was worried that it should be happening sooner... so its good to be reminded that it takes a little longer than that. I need patience lol :) I am SO excited for you guys!~ Its fun to have other women pregnant at the same time as me :)

    I just love that we are due at the same time! My due date is March 28th!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
