Gratitude Day 13

Baby #4 is a mover!
Little Solomon is moving more than I've ever felt, especially being that I'm 20 weeks today.
None of my babies have been big movers, not in comparison to what I hear other women talk about.
Aimi Lark (my first) NEVER moved, had me scared almost daily.  The doctor reassured me that if she was moving what was "normal" for her then we were good.
I am LOVING how much Solomon is making his presence known.
I love it.
I'm so grateful for my little mover, Solomon Roy!

(First movement(s) was felt about 2 weeks ago, always makes me think of a whale surfacing, the way their back grazes just outside the water as they dive back down.  That is how the movements feel as they graze just enough for me to feel them.)

  1. That is neat to hear. Brings back memories of my little mover in my belly.

  3. Good! I hope that he is a mover outside too! You deserve to have 1 child that keeps your on your toes just half as much as my babies do!!!:) Cuz right now, I wouldn't be expecting cousins from this family for another 10 years! Geez.

  4. Happy Birthday! I'm turning 25 in a few weeks! Get ready to have a busy little boy! Ethan was a mover in utero and hasn't stopped moving since- i.e. he never walked, he ran! Ellie was the same as Ami Lark and NEVER moved- she is my content and quiet little girl. I think we can totally see their little personalities come through even in the womb!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
