Today at church I once again sat in awe of the women of my ward.
The diversity.
The life experiences they share.
The things they teach me unknowingly.
I feel blessed.
I love to listen to the women share their testimonies of what they know to be true with their various accents.
It makes my heart smile!
It makes my heart smile!
It makes me smile.
The sister who shared of her and her husband's 11 year journey to have a baby.
The sister who shared how she prayed to be able to be off work on Sundays to attend church and her prayers were answered.
The sister who has served a service mission for the last ten years and just signed on for 30 more months. She works at the storehouse making sure those in need have food.
The good news minute where sisters share a quick little "good news."
SO UPLIFTING!

I am so grateful to learn from these women. I am grateful for the Relief Society organization that allows us to interact, work, and serve together as women.
I hope to continue to get to know these women that lift me up and I know are there for me if I ever need. What a blessing!
The RS organization will be 169 years old this month!

I've only seen the "good news minute" time once in Kayla's Provo ward. Wish we had something like that around here. Not that I ever get to attend RS anyway, but I think it would be fun. U n l e s s....they did it many years ago and it got too weird. lol Around here you never know. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that you love your RS. I'm scared to move back down to San Diego because I don't think I will love my RS as much as I do here. This post gives me hope tho :)
