Love for Baby Solomon

Aimi Lark loves Solomon.
She is always touching my tummy, burying her face in my tummy, talking to Solomon in my tummy, telling me what Solomon said to her and generally just checking on his well-being.
Tonight I told her "I love You"
She told me "I love you Solomon"
I said you don't love me?
She said, "Yeah but I just love Solomon, he's my brother"
She came over, kissed her hand and touched it to my tummy
She then said, "Malachi's a great brother"
She loves her brothers and sister!
Man, I love how much she loves Solomon now,
I cannot even imagine when he's here for her to hold!

    You are going to LOVE having a big helper like her with a new baby. For me it seemed to get easier and easier the more kids I had because of all the great helpers! She's a sweetie!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
