Last Week @ Epcot

We rode the ride inside the big EPCOT ball at the entrance.  It was a tour through the way technology has changed on a slow moving ride.  They had screens in front of you where you could answer questions about your ideal world and then it showed a little movie with your pictures on the faces of characters acting out your ideal world.

At the exit of this ride instead of a gift shop there were all these interactive digital games.  The kids had so much fun playing.  I think we spent 2 hours on this ride/playing games.

A MUST-SEE for our family at EPCOT each visit is MICHAEL JACKSON as CAPTAIN EO.  Jake loves to watch the kids go from EXTREME FEAR because of the lady with long fingernails to EXTREME JOY as they dance around and their faces light up from the dancing and music show done by Michael Jackson.
Outside of the Cap EO show are these fountains that the water JUMPS from the blue pads to the next blue pad.  The girls discovered one of the pads had the jump a little short so the water would land on the sidewalk.  They stood under it!  Mali Su was shocked when it first hit her!

Then the girls went back OVER and OVER for more fun in the water!  Both girls braced themselves for the water coming in their own unique ways.  Mali Su's way reminded me of myself, because when I jump into water I ALWAYS have to hold my nose!
Mali Su got over her fear and soon was having the time of her life.  I had to have her stop slurping up the water like a puppy dog though.
I now just want to go to EPCOT with Jake, on a date.  There are so many more adult friendly activities at this park I want to check out.  Oh and the restaurants there...

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
