FL in March

The weather has been amazing.  I did turn my AC on for 3 days earlier in the week but then it cooled back off and our windows are open once again.  Well yesterday I saw my kids sitting at the back door looking like so.
I thought, "Man, they look bored."
So then I remembered that Mia brought with her from TX all kinds of water toys and bubbles for the kids that we've had tucked away in the garage.  In that loot I found a POOL!  Daddy then began the task of inflating this pool.
 Mali Su JUMPED right in!
The Elders from our church had stopped by to share a short message with us and made sure to say bye to the kids before they left.
I spent most of my time outside putting on goggles and video taping the kids RUNNING from the fence to jumping into the tiny pool.  Cold water and all they loved it!
Now I don't think they loved when Daddy stripped them down and hosed them off before they came inside. The sting of the sprayer and cold water were probably SHOCKING to say the least.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
