LIFE OVER THE LAST LITTLE BIT

The Shillig 5 family came over for dinner and Brody, Luke, and baby William got their HALO gaming on.
Jordan turned 2 on 10/10/09. Aimi Lark kept wanting blue "happy cake" so we showed her the blue sprinkles and she was golden.
Mali Su was happy with any color. She sure loved the cupcakes!!!
Parents trying to help all the little ones share. My girls did not understand that it was Jordan's birthday and that they had to sit and watch. They really wanted to help her open her presents.
Jake and Luke did some little dance, I think it was from "Fiddler on the Roof."
Aimi Lark LOVES to go to church. Mali Su loves to show us her color pages after she gets out of nursery. Somehow Aimi Lark tore her dress while in nursery class.
Jake is so busy busy busy with work, school, and everything else. We love him!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
