We walked and walked all around the town by the train station. It was a medium size city, not a village.
There were tons of birds for sale of all varieties (chicken, duck, geese) but the big Tom Turkey was just wondering around outside the cages almost like the guard dog.
Thankfully it was a chilly day or this could have smelled awful! I loved seeing the fresh seafood because were were near the sea. We had just seen where the great wall meets the sea on this day.
We stumbled upon a tall hospital (the pink building in the next picture) and then we saw a basketball court and Jake was more than excited to play. I admired the pregnant pictures on this (I assume) OB/GYN office. You rarely see pregnant women in China (or at least I don't feel I do) so it was fun to see their styled up photographed Chinese women.
Jake loves sports so it was fun to see him in his element!
We had no idea that "first class" on the train back to Beijing was so cheap! We upgraded and had the whole "first class" cabin area to ourselves. It was just bigger seats but we were so tired we passed right out.
I am pretty sure could travel the world aimlessly forever.
My kids are getting old enough that I think it'd be pretty easy to bring them too.
