Malachi is 11 Months Old

He doesn't hate bath time as much as he used to (but he still doesn't like it very much).
He loves to play with toys.
His hair is getting longer so sometimes I part it to the side and other times Daddy slicks it back after a bath and it dries like this:Malachi is pulling up everywhere.Has stood once or twice without hands while leaning a little on the couch (he doesn't realize he does this).
He ate 2 whole jars of baby food yesterday! Only 5 months after we started trying and who knows if he will even keep up this trend. His fit pitching skills get better (worse) every single day.
He LOVES his bottle in the last couple weeks. We love him, his sisters love him, and the boys (love him) are great at entertaining him.
Malachi, we love you!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
