I walk into Zumba this morning...
into a room full of Latins speaking Spanish.
(makes sense, it is a Latin based dance class but I was the only white girl/non-Latin in the room at the moment)
I begin to stretch (I just came from Spin class) and text Jake.
In walks our instructor, a cute Asian girl.
As the music starts up and the speaking in Spanish behind me continues.
I cannot help but laugh to myself.
Latin music playing, Asian teacher (overly excitedly) teaching, and Latins behind me dancing/speaking Spanish.
There I danced (not so gracefully) with the few other white girls.
It was a FUN(ny) morning in Zumba class.
The workout was amazing though!
Just for some more FUN(ny) stuff in this post here are some pictures I took of us trying to get the kids into bed last night...
(thanks Kayla for letting me borrow your camera...did I mention my video camera stopped working this week too?)
Malachi goes down quite easily in his crib these days. But sometimes the girls find it necessary to give him things like, umm I don't know...sippy cups, small pianos, you know, things he will need while sleeping. I don't think he liked it very much.
I took out the unwanted items, comforted him, and he went right to sleep.
Aimi Lark INSISTED upon playing this drum.
I guess the soft rhythmic beating of a drum lulls her to sleep.
Mali Su is really just a funny girl. No explanation needed.

Oh I'm glad you enjoy Zumba! I LOVE going whenever I have the time, only lately I have taken to just hitting the gym as its more affordable. I tend to be the loner in the middle of a ton of dancing women who all know each other... haha.. come join me any time!
ReplyDeleteyour kids always crack me up! i love reading the posts about them. so sweet and so funny of the girls to give malachi toys to sleep with!
ReplyDeleteThe girls are probably right about Malachi needing a piano in bed with him. I'm just saying. lol
ReplyDeleteSo I hear u have printed your blog into books? Can u please give some advice on what websight is the best and how to make it easier! I am messing around with blig2print and blurb right now, I just don't think they're very easy to use! I'm kinda special when it comes to computers;)
