5

That is the number of teeth that are pushing their way through Malachi's gums right now.
I noticed he was EXTRA needy today and thought I saw something. I checked his mouth and could see the swollen, jagged, white spotted gums where 5 teeth (will hopefully speedily) pop through.
My poor little man.In other news:
-Brody is officially registered for soccer and games start around March 23.
-I did a class called "24 SET" today at the gym and LOVED it! I finally broke the plateau I have been at (for about a month) with my weight loss and have dropped 4 more lbs.
-Beau went on a trip to ST George this past weekend for a rugby game. Rugby is roughing him up a bit but he is loving it.
-Kayla and Josh get married 2 months from today! We are so excited for them!
-The girls are as cute as ever. Mali Su has a fever tonight and hope she gets better soon. Aimi Lark loves the gym and wants to go ALL the time. She also prayed for the "olders" tonight and when the "elders" got here she ran out of her room and said "I want to see the Olders!"

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
