I am a sports mom/sister. My freshman year of college I chose to go home in October versus November for Thanksgiving so that I could attend football games of my brothers. I love to be at the games. It is so exciting for me to watch family members from the sideline and really cheer them on.

Aimi Lark got the hang of it and was yelling "GO PROVO!" many times. Beau did amazing in his new position. Here he is outside the ruck waiting for the ball to be tossed out.
"In a ruck, no player may use their hands to win the ball; instead each side attempts to push the other side back, and players use their feet to hook the ball back towards their own side — an action known as rucking the ball. The team with possession attempts to ruck the ball back towards their own goal-line, where is it picked up by one of their own players. Once the ball is out of the ruck, the ruck is over."
He tackled like crazy! We were so proud of him. I am so glad he didn't get injured...rugby is ROUGH!
Brody is still at youth conference til tonight sometime. We miss him. I bet he is having a blast up in the mountains.
I just wanted to add in these cute pictures of the girls enjoying an "Asian" experience. Totally kidding of course. But my great friend Christina sent the girls TRAINING chopsticks from Korea and the girls want to use them at EVERY meal (but I will admit I have never let them til this night, I'm afraid they'll break them). Aimi Lark found a pack of Ramen Noodles in the pantry and wanted them (gotta hide those before an addiction starts). I made the noodles and then she weaseled her little hand in the silverware drawer (through the childproof latch) and got the chopsticks for herself and Mali Su. I couldn't say NO at that point,
noodles+chopsticks=too cute for words.

(sorry about the pictures...they are all taken with my cell phone these days)

Looks like a GREAT day! Nice weather too. Glad Beau did so well and Brody's getting to attend YC!
ReplyDeleteCute little chopsticks, isn't it funny how they figure out how to get things that you thought were out of the way, their like little master thieves or something.
