Lollipop, Lollipop, OH lolli-lollipop...

So today while the girls were at the doctor's office the nurse gave Aimi Lark her FIRST SUCKER! Aimi Lark LOVED IT! This is her in her carseat after we left. At the doctor's office we found out that her skin issue is just EXTREME dry skin and that we need to constantly slather her in moisturizing creme.

*When I get Aimi Lark dressed she picks up each leg one at a time and puts them into her pant/skirt/shorts. It is so cute. Sometimes she forgets to support herself on me and falls over but she is doing such a good job!
*She LOVES to put on chapstick when I do. Also when I put on makeup she is right there to help out. The other day she actually got my lipgloss open and was applying it to her lips...so shiny!

  1. Too cute! I do think it's kinda funny that the doctor is the first one to give her candy!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
