PLAY PLAY

PLAY ALL DAY!!!
These girls are enjoying the summertime weather by being much more playful. Mali Su has discovered she can grasp toys and bring them to her mouth. Aimi Lark has become a climber and yesterday discovered she could climb into the kitchen cabinets and hang out and play peek-a-boo.
Some of my girls' cute moments:

~Aimi Lark now turns in circles when she dances and you would think she would get dizzy and fall down but she just keeps spinning! Maybe we have a mini ballerina on our hands.
~When ever music comes on (especially at church) she will "conduct" the music. She started it on her own one week in Sacrament and now I totally encourage it and it is so cute to watch her swing her arm back and forth!

~Mali Su has become a "cat napper" lately and only seems to take many many quick naps throughout the day. But she still sleeps at least 8hrs a night so I'm not complaining.
~She has also started "snack" eating throughout the day versus actual meals. She now will nurse for a few moments and be done and want to eat soon after... silly Mali Su...

  1. I love it when little kids lead the music. At least someone is looking at the conductor!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
