SUMMER IS HERE!

Today I took the girls to get their pictures made at a place called "Portrait Innovations"
They offer the best one pose package EVER! You get so many pictures for only $10!
I LOVE IT! I prefer to get their pictures made more often and pay less. So today while Jake was working on his final paper for his history class we went to the studio (to get out of his hair.) Jake mentioned when we bought the girls' suits that a picture of them would be so cute! So for Father's Day we had them done for him! Now I know I am biased but they are SO CUTE!
At the studio they had a LEGO table and Aimi Lark was obsessed so this is the only picture where she was looking at the camera (kinda) She did however go over to the camera while it was sitting on the floor, squat down, and smile big while looking into the lense and say "cheese" and walk back over to the LEGO table... ahhh children...

    Cute picture of your girls smiling so big!! And my dad is actually stationed in Houston, training people who are going overseas. He only gets to come home to Vidor on the weekends and occasional holidays.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
