Jacob...




I know that I just recently posted about how amazing my husband it but I just wanted to tell how much he is needed in our lives. (for Father's Day of course)
Because of him...
~My girls have such cute songs sung to them with their names placed in them
~My girls get pretty much whatever they want
~My girls sometimes stay up too late and get up too early
~they get to sleep in our bed when he thinks they "need" to
~Aimi Lark loves milk shakes and chocolate
~our lives are filled with joy beyond measure
~my girls will never have to know what it is like to grow up without a father
~My daughters have a great male example to which to look to
~their overall quality of life is just more fun and less boring
Thank you Jacob for all you do! You are truly an amazing husband and FATHER!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
