I'm a Gardener

haha not really but I am sure trying! Last night
(Here are Madilyn and Aimi Lark chillin' on a bean bag while watching "Finding Nemo")
after a game night at their house Ashley gave me some plants she had. One tomato plant and some cucumber seeds. I am excited to see if I can get them to grow on my porch. My herb garden bit the dust the other day because I accidentally left it out over night and I guess it got too cold but I brought it in the house and watered it and look at it now!
Aimi Lark discovered more of her climbing skills by climbing into the lawn chair on the porch and watching my attempt at gardening :)

  3. Good job with the gardening. You may have to teach me your skills. The hanging plant I got for Mother's Day looks half dead. Just great.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
