Father's Day WEEKEND




So for Father's day Jake decided to do things for US girls. He sent me to get my hair done. I have been wanting to go back to my natural color (less up keep and $) so he watched the girls while I went to the salon. We then had our date night which he says is his Father's Day. He also got Aimi Lark a swimming pool! She had so much fun playing in it! When I was younger we had a pool just like this one. I remember me and my little brother Beau would play in it for hours! He got so tan during those summers! Jake said he has LOVED his Father's day WEEKEND. I did get the girls' pictures made for him and made him two "brag books" but I couldn't wait and gave those to him early. He did have to work this weekend so that was rough but we enjoyed our time together.

    How fun! I got one of those little pools for my birthday once and I still think it was one of the most exciting presents ever! Love the hair by the way.

    Um...can Hadley go swimming with Aimi Lark when we get back? She'd just love that! We could sit her bumbo in the pool while we oversee her, of course.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
