Busy Bees

are what we are around here!
We had Sunday dinner over here on Sunday and sang to Brody for his birthday.Playgroup was here on Monday and the girls got some way cute things at the gift exchange.I booked my dad's hotel for him today because he gets here with my brother Tyler on THURSDAY morning!
Jake's family gets here from CA on Friday or Saturday morning.
Jake has 3 finals left.
He commissions on Saturday and I finally finished the DVD slide-show for the party last night (it only took me 3-4 times remaking it to get it right).
He picked up his uniform tonight and all looks great!Malachi's teeth are still giving him troubles.I am trying hard to tackle everything I need to do without feeling too overwhelmed.
I am finally stressing less and getting excited more about everything...
now just to clean my office!!!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
