our 2 year old

does NOT like to wear clothes lately & along with her desire to wear only a diaper around the house she takes off her sister's clothes as well. Today I didn't have the desire to re-dress her over and over so after their bath I dressed them, Mali Su in hard to take off long johns and Aimi Lark in an easy to take off (and for me to put back on) dress. She left the dress on ALL day without any problems so tonight when we had to run to Costco I dressed her in a warmer dress and her new favorite shoes... her PINK SNOW BOOTS! I thought she looked too cute not to snap a picture. Thanks Mia for the cute dress!(she is eating a chewable vitamin in these pictures which she LOVES)

    Totally cute! We have the same problem with Zoe.... she has figured out that SHE can choose clothes, and replace the ones I put on her. Grrrr.

    Hi Shillig 4 Family, It's been a few years since the last time I talked to you on the phone. Now here you are a mother of two beautiful baby girls and another baby due ? I am so happy for you and Jacob. I am so sorry we all lost touch with each other. I can tell you are enjoying Motherhood. I added the two girls to the family tree. 20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
