Children's Museum

AGAIN! we love this place and had the opportunity to go with our friends the Keetons. Thanks for coming (even when it was raining) Aimi Lark did fall on her head twice this trip and while climbing some stairs I think a little boy stepped on Mali Su's face. Even though we left with some bumps, scratches, and bruises we had a blast!
On the way home we all stopped for dinner but when we looked in our backseat we saw our girls fast asleep in their new car seats looking absolutely comfortable with their heads positioned perfectly in the amazing headrests of their first class car seats that we didn't have the heart to wake them, so we were party poopers and headed home.

  1. It is good that you take the time to do things together as a family and with friends. These are priceless moments!

  2. I'm jealous about the car seats! Your mom is a saint :o) My kids still have the hard plastic, sterile car seats to ride in.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
