FHE at BYU

Today was a bit of a crazy(due to customer service morons) and overbooked day for me (because I am "special" and cannot plan things correctly) and my husband was so amazing once again and took care of me in my time of need. He took MALI SU to class with him tonight! After class I asked him how it went and he said that the professor seemed happy about it but that some student made a comment that "if that baby starts crying I'm leaving class" and Jake responded "Well maybe you should transfer to another University that does not encourage having children."

YES! GO JAKE! is my response.

When we went to pick him them up from campus I told Jake we should let Aimi Lark play around on the grass on campus for FHE. Aimi Lark LOVES the grass and FLOWERS!

We ended up following her EVERYWHERE as she EXPLORED! BYU campus is GORGEOUS! I love it! Jake said she was just checking out the school for when she applies in the future. It was so nice to let her play and explore and enjoy herself.
We came home and had dinner and now the girls are all tuckered out and napping peacefully.

  2. Good for Jake! I'm glad he said something to that guy. Some people are so self-absorbed!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
