Disney's Animal Kingdom Pro Pics

Jake said he wanted a picture with his "Mom and Dad" so of course they obliged.

Meeting the characters from the movie UP was a HIT. I loved it!

Mali Su always has SO MANY questions for the characters.

I told everyone to pose like a dog, no need to always be posing properly for pics, right?

Disney does "magic" pictures now where images appear in your photos, the kids LOVE to look at the photos when we get home.

Daddy was off trying to ride Everest with Malachi (hoping to help Malachi overcome his fear/apprehension) so I got treats with the kids.

I saw a photographer standing nearby so I asked her to just take pictures of the kids with their ice cream and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one.

I took the boys to meet Baloo and King Louie while Jake rode a big ride with the girls.

One last ride on Everest and we called it a day when the rain came pouring down.

We loved our summer of Disney!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween! Possibly ever! Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully. He even had the cutest song he sang. I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
