At the risk of being too lovey dovey I wanted to say how grateful I am for my husband.
Lately when he has to leave for Army training for days at a time I cry, I CRY. What am I, some newbie military wife? NO! This isn't my first rodeo, but for the last few months when the Army takes him away I cry. I think it is because he is already gone so much that I miss having the weekends as mine and ours. Now CHESS is taking Saturdays from us and I'm just being a big baby and wanting all Jake's available time for myself.
Poor little sweet Mali Su cries now from time to time when he leaves too. She tells him, "But you already went to school!" and then he tells her that was work and now I have to go to class. She just has the sweetest little down turned face as she holds back the tears and her chin quivers. She told him, "I'm just gonna miss you."
I am so grateful for my husband who works his tail off for our family.
I am so grateful for my husband who is handsome as ever.
I am so grateful for my husband who values an education.
I am so grateful for my husband who isn't afraid to work hard and load up his plate to reach his dreams for himself and for us.
I am so grateful for my husband always thinking about the future and making sure we are taken care of.
I am so grateful for my husband's love for life. He is the happiest guy.
I am so grateful for how strong he is.
I am so grateful for his knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how he teaches that to our family.
I am so grateful for his analytical personality and how it always keeps me thinking.
I am grateful we can talk for hours.
I am grateful I am able to stay home and raise my children because of him.
I am grateful that he is moldable, that we are able to mold together to make things the way "our" family does it.
I am grateful for his smile and how his whole face lights up when he smiles.
I am grateful that he always tries to lighten my burdens.
I am grateful that he thinks I am beautiful.
I am grateful that he LOVES his teaching job (if it paid more he said he'd do it forever).
I am grateful he loves law school.
I am grateful he wants to experience life with me and our children.
I am grateful he is a hands on Dad.
I am grateful he is my husband.
I am grateful for Jacob.
