USS KAUFFMAN

 Aimi Lark stepped on one of the manholes in the parking lot where steam was continually rising up, she burned her little foot!
Uncle Beau is such a great Uncle to the kids.  He does get impatient every now and then and expects them to use their inside voices, but we love him and his caring heart.

 We got an extra detailed tour of every nook and cranny of the ship.  This is where they bring in the helicopters after they land on the back.

 Jake had a bit of a hard time fitting through all the manholes but he did it!
 I am so proud of my brother.
I am proud he is serving his country.
I am proud he is doing something with his life.
I am proud that he is a productive member of society and an awesome person.
I am proud that he has a good heart and cares about others.
We love you Beau Baby.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
