Who Knew?

A conversation, late at night, after all the kids are asleep, could calm all my fears.
I love my husband. 
I love our relationship and friendship.
I still wish things were more definite with our future, but I know we'll be A-OK.
I fasted and prayed yesterday, fasted for our future, and I haven't done that (fasted) in quite a long time, but I needed it.  
I felt so much peace.  
I felt my faith strengthened.  
I know that the Lord is aware of our needs.  I am grateful for that knowledge.
So bring on packing and driving back across the country, bring it.

    Lia saw the pics of your kids and said, pointing to Malachi, "Hey, look how handsome he is!" lol I second that.

    What faith you have! I admire your sense of adventure :D. As long as you have your family, that's all that matters, right?!?
    I am amazed at how much Heavenly Father helps us out when we do what he inspires us to do. He will provide for you when you return "home". I can't wait to hear how.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
