Sarager, Gentry, & Shillig 1s

This weekend we squeezed in quite a few visits in the Houston area.
Malachi and Jackson played some Wii on Sunday.
Solomon thought it was fun to try and eat Easton.
 Who doesn't love play-doh?
The Saragers were so kind to let us sleep over this weekend.
During our little movie watching "17 Miracles" Solomon kept "flirting" with Amelia (and trying to eat her feet).
We met up with the Shillig 1s at CHUCK E. CHEESE.  The buddy system allowed for us parents to talk while the kids went through 140 tokens.
Jake and his brother Aaron and above is all their children.
Thanks everyone for your kindness and hospitality!
Especially the Saragers who even  put up with our random sickies.  Saturday night the Saragers pulled an all nighter with their daughter Rosalee and Sunday night we pulled an all nighter with a sicky Mali Su then dealt with an exploding Solomon this morning.  It was I'm sure a funny sight for anyone looking on from above.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
