Oh Aimi Larkie

"But I will be sad"
"But I will cry"
usually said when you tell her to do something she doesn't want to do or need her to give you something she shouldn't have

"Aimi Lark, Why do you have that boppy?"
response, "Well, because I love it"

"You are so much nice."
sometimes said as she smiles at you and is holding your face in her hands
Yesterday she had to have some little bumps frozen off and Jake kept telling her that the doctor was
"so much nice"

Most sentences these days start with
"Well,"

She likes to say,
"Well, he has to share"  or "Well, she can share"
usually said when she is playing with some one's something and they want it back/want a turn

It is so fun to talk to her.
I love the age of 3
She will be 3 and a half on the 26th of this month

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
