ICE Blocking for FHE

We went to Rock Canyon Park up behind the Provo Temple tonight to enjoy some ICE BLOCKING fun for FHE.

This was Beau's first time to ICE BLOCK and even though he got a little distracted and started practicing his flips he had fun.  The boys tried all kinds of moves down the hill.

Aimi Lark I think had the MOST fun.
She is so naturally adventurous, I love it.
She would ride down this hill with Jake
and then excitedly laugh and run back up the hill for more.

Mali Su once again took her safe/not try new things approach and never went down the hill.

She preferred to stand at the bottom and drop her arms for the boys when they raced.
I had been doing it earlier

and then out of no where she went down and started counting to 5 and dropping her arms!
Malachi had fun crawling all around and riding down the hill with Daddy.
He at one point started crawling down hill and then that turned into rolling down hill before he stopped himself and sat up.
He did took off with one of the ice blocks and start pushing it down the hill as he crawled behind it.
At the end everyone broke their ice blocks.
Mali Su stayed behind to pick up every single little chunk of ice and re-throw it.
I love the weather right now and all the fun outdoor activities we are enjoying.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
