Today we ventured to the local lake with the kids.
We spent 5 hours there.
I would have never expected us to stay so long ( I was done after hour 2) but I did wake up at 5AM so I was exhausted and my girls began to get a little too brave for this single mother to take. Aimi Lark and Mali Su both enjoyed jumping off the dock, sliding on the slide, and trying to walk out until they couldn't touch the bottom anymore. Malachi and my mom once again kept an eye on our base camp.
I did forget to put sunscreen on myself
and I guess it being overcast was deceiving because I am feeling sunburned tonight.
Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.
