Bounce Zone!!!

Today we took the kids for an adventure.
First, we went to my house to let in the tile guys but were surprised to find that they were DONE! Our house looks great. Now I just need to pick out paint colors with my dad before I go back to UT so that when we return in December our house will be good to go!

We then went and fed my mom's horses, washed the sequoia at the car wash Jake loves here (it has super high water pressure that I think may remove the paint from your vehicle),

(check out Mali Su)

ate at McDonalds, and then went to BOUNCE ZONE for some major hippity hoppity FUN! The kids had a blast. I think Aimi Lark had the MOST fun followed closely by my brother Beau. At BOUNCE ZONE a lady came up to me and said how glad she was to see me nursing. I will admit I have felt a bit out of place when I nurse in public (with my cover) since being back in TX, so her comment was nice to hear. A HUGE group of kids came in so we took it as our cue to leave.

Oh, and last night I think I got my WORST night sleep of the entire trip. I felt like I never fell into a deep sleep. The girls woke up at 4am for some reason and were so angry, not crying but ANGRY. Aimi Lark got in bed with my mom and Mali Su finally fell back asleep after getting up for a drink. During the half hour I was taking care of them one of my eyes was twitching, I had a head-ache, I was nauseated and both eyes were watering. My body is in need of some serious sleep! But something good did come out of their wake-up...I put clothes in the dryer that I forgot to last night...see there IS always a silver lining :)

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
