a Shillig SUPER Saturday

THANKS TO DADDY!
When we got up today Jake was ready to have family time.
We went to the park, fed the ducks,


and played, put the license plates on the sequoia, took naps, ate lunch,
went to the pool, shopped for groceries, watched some TV, and now are getting ourselves in bed.

I love that Jake has next week off too! I am really getting a nice break having him home to help out. I did have a scare earlier this week with some abnormal abdominal pain but after a trip to the ER all is well and I am feeling better.

    I went and fed the ducks on Friday with one of my friends in Provo and the same thing happened. Lilli ate the crackers (that is all we had)and Ember threw it to the baby ducks.
    I love the video! Aimi Lark is speaking so clear.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
