My Dad got us a hotel room while we were in TX for a night so we could have Christmas together. His house with Sheila is small and not kid friendly (well not necessarily Shillig kid friendly).
They brought us food and the kids loved "CHICKEN ON THE BONE" and we practically said that a thousand times that night and Daddy even made it into a song.
Aunt Judy (my Dad's sister) brought a little talking Christmas tree to jazz up the place.
The presents began!
My Granddad Charlie is so good to us. He makes sure he's there every time we come in town.
The kids were THRILLED with their gifts.
Aunt Judy helped all the kids with their toys and so did She-She (Sheila).
I loved how excited she was about her fake nails, I remember LOVING fake nails as a little girl.
TVs for our truck! Thanks Dad!
Aimi Lark took her coloring stuff and hid under this sink area, it was so cute.
Shotgun shells, score!
My Dad and Uncle Kyle taught Jake about the differences of the shots.
Aunt Judy was the sweetest elf bringing desserts and NERDS candy and coloring books for the kids.
I love when my children are so excited and so grateful, it's the most joyous combination! It's so childlike and makes me smile.
Daddy played a lot with the ninja turtles and power rangers the boys got.
Family pictures thanks to the camera self timer.
The next morning we lounged around our hotel room before we checked out.
It wasn't your typical Christmas but it was FABULOUS!
I'm a fan of fancy hotel Christmas.
