Solomon has started asking me sometimes randomly, "where are we going" and I respond, "no where."
He then smilingly says, "not going to the circus?"
I guess I say I'm going to run away and join the circus or tell them that's where Daddy has gone when they ask and know already where he is way too often.
Today I ran to pick up some BLUE BELL ice cream at the grocery store for a treat for Jake before his last final tonight. As I put the boys in the buggy Malachi shouts he's FREEZING and Solomon begins to request a jacket. It could not have been any cooler than 75 degrees out.
My Mom is planning to get married over Christmas break so that will bring us to TX for Christmas afterall and put me coming right home to FL only to turn around and fly to Germany. I just unpacked from Utah this week so needless to say I'm drowning a little at the idea of all the laundry I need to put away just to repack. It will be so much fun though, home for the holiday!
Jake is at his last final of his last fall semester of law school tonight. I am so happy for him! I just wish he didn't have drill this weekend because it feels like we don't even have time to celebrate.
Solomon is potty trained and I love it. That roadtrip to UT was just what he needed, the incentive to get out of his carseat at each stop if he used the potty. He just requests ("you help me Mom") I accompany him each and every time he goes. I think I had more time with diaper changes than I do now. Maybe someday he'll go without assistance.
I had to cancel my plans to run in the Ragnar Key West. Jake had his Army schedule changed around after the Government shut down/sequestration so now I'd have to get babysitters, dog sitters, etc as well as pay for all that went along with the race. It was sadly just not in the cards.
This is me continuing this from the other day.
I was at a girls' night last night and had SO MUCH FUN!
While there Jake texted me and said
"Solomon calls the hairs in my nose grass mocos."
HILARIOUS!
Well off to another hair appointment. I'm trying to get in as much as I can before NEW YEAR'S in Germany!
