21. I am so grateful to be believe in the power of prayer. It is such a comfort in my life.
22. I am grateful my husband wears so many hats to accomplish all that he does. I find this VERY attractive.
23. I am grateful for two well working vehicles that take us to and fro.
24. I am grateful for our dog Zelda and how the kids love her and she scares off would be thieves (our neighborhood has had a slew of random break-ins to vacation homes).
25. I am grateful for the opportunities to travel we have and are being blessed with in the future. I always knew I wanted to see the world I just didn't know I would do it so quickly and inexpensively. Now I want to keep making it happen for all of us.
26. I am grateful for this blog. I am grateful for the search feature on this blog that can help jog a memory or reminisce about good ol' times.
27. I am grateful for my health and the health of my entire little family. We have our run ins with random sickies but overall we are healthy happy people and I am so grateful for that.
28. I am grateful for Amazon online and how you can buy anything there. I am grateful for their PRIME shipping (free 2 day shipping) and I am grateful for them returning my money after my kids bought tons of games without my knowledge on our cross country trek.
29. I am grateful for my mother, father, and siblings. I feel they each teach me something in my life and help me to want to be my best and happiest self. I love coming from a large family full of so many non-traditional branches.
30. I am grateful for my knowledge of Jesus Christ and eternal life. I am grateful I am able to share these beliefs and feelings with my husband and children. I am grateful for the Temple and my eternal marriage. I am thankful for all that I have and for the contentment I have in my life.
Just one last note as I think about gratitude. Jake pushes this more on our children (and my brothers when they lived with us) than any other value. His Dad taught him to always thank the Lord for everything. I never realized just how important this was til I got older. Our world is full of feelings of entitlement and feeling as if everything is replaceable. Our new phrase in our home with our kids lately seems to be, "people matter not things" since some of our children get worked up sometimes over "stuff."
I am blessed.
