Phone Picture Fun

Pumpkin pie for my birthday that I found tossed in the living room thankfully still in the box.
Kids wanted Chipotle after the gym when there is a McDonald's next door.  I was all for encouraging that choice.
Daddy had drill and the kids spent the entire Saturday morning while he was away playing happily, no fighting.  SUCH A BLESSING!
I let the kids each take a tiny toy to church while Daddy was away.  I a pick my battles.
I had to work hard to find enough winter clothes for us to take the Utah.  I annoyingly over packed.  I am such a minimalist packer, I guess it had to happen sometime.
My sweet friend Kelley and I had an impromptu dinner night together.  YUMMY stuffed Chicago pizza.
I feel like sometimes he looks like an old man in his glasses.
Packed and getting ready to drive to UTAH!
 Breakfast at Waffle House.
 Daddy studies for law school.
Chick Fil A in Atlanta for lunch.
FINALLY getting out of Atlanta traffic.
Taco Bell for dinner, Solomon seems to have taken a liking to potty training.
Breakfast in a Kansas frozen rain storm at IHOP.
 FROZEN RAIN!
Seeing their first snow since they were little in UTAH.
We got out to stretch our legs OFTEN.
Supper before we finally made it to Larkie's was at COSTCO and by then we KNEW Solomon had that potty thing down.
I had a yummy lunch on our first full day in Utah.
We headed to the much anticipated wedding!
 Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple.

 Nap time at Aunt Larkie's.
 CAFE RIO!
 Temple Square with the family.
Carl's Jr in Provo, UT was quite nostalgic
Solomon said, "I want to stay this place, letters"  meaning BYU= Letters
After shopping at the bookstore we went to Cocoa Bean for drinks and cupcakes.  I was in heaven!  I loved the day in Provo with my children and husband.
Supper that night with our kids was busy but thankfully it's a loud restaurant so we blended in perfectly.
I picked up some cinnamon bear goodies from the bookstore.
The Sarager and Shillig Thanksgiving crew.
Back on the road with a meal at a Pizza hut in Moab, Utah.
Daddy played SIMON SAYS with them to help with the wiggles.
Sometimes studying for Daddy turned into nap time for Daddy.
We made it to TX if you can't tell, cowboy hats in a convenience store.
 WHATABURGER (waterburger)!!!

My bestest friend Marianne came by to visit during our few short hours in TX.
A little seafood supper action at FLOYD'S with my bro, Brody.
My Mama is always spoiling her children.
Thankfully we had electronics on this cross country trek.
One last WHATABURGER stop on the way into FL.
Aimi Lark was pretty proud of her "hair beard."
Last tank of gas to stand between me and my bed!
 WE ARE HOME!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
