SNOW!

As we left Utah and headed towards Colorado we finally found SNOW!  My kids had been hoping to play in snow and we had very little luck in the area of Utah we were in.  We finally found a place off the beaten path that we pulled over, suited up, and played in!
The girls were the first in.
Throwing sno balls at Daddy seemed to rank high on the snow fun list.
Eating it was a close second.
Snow angels surely tired for 2nd.  They loved watching Daddy teach them the process of the PERFECT snow angel.
Find an area of snow and fall straight back!
 The perfect snow angel.
Thanks to the self timer we also took our Christmas card photo here, that will come later.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
