Solomon Roy at Disney

While waiting for others to arrive he met PLUTO!

Daddy got him all wet in the splash pad area.

He rode the Goofy Roller Coaster with me!

While in line for Pirates of the Caribbean he insisted on being all kinds of animals and played the part well.  Here he is a kitty cat.

He is a hilarious boy.  This morning he asked Daddy for a hug and then started telling him,
"not a squeezy hug."
Then he will ask, "what color this?" or "what number this?"
He repeats things and is very animated sometimes like when he says, "WHAT!?" in a very high pitched voice.
He asks for hugs and kisses.
He insists on being FIRST and if anyone else "wins" he will sit where he's at and not move or pitch a fit.  Not cool.
He likes super heroes and all that boy stuff.
He loves to lay in bed and play his leapster.
He lets his sisters dress him.
I love this boy.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
