Disney's Art and Animation Resort with Sarah Fry Oxendine

Wednesdays are great, Jake has a couple hours between work and law school.  We met up with Sarah and her family at the resort and Mali Su loved playing the games the Disney workers had going around the pool.
The boys had fun swimming with everyone.
Mali Su checks out the competition.
Alexandria watches her and helps her as she fills the bucket.

 Mali Su's team WINS!
We began to walk around and see that there were themed buildings with HUGE displays from Disney/Pixar movies.
This was the first CARS character we saw and the boys excitedly ran to it.  Solomon has this Volkswagen van from the movie at our house (a tiny one) and he got so excited and said, "my car!"

Our friend Shawna came and helped, especially with Solomon who lagged behind.
Radiator Springs LOOKED like the real deal.  How did we not already know about this place?
Pride Rock was not for climbing but Jake used a lot of forearm strength and got up there.
 An Elephant graveyard!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
