We had so much fun snorkeling the reef. The girls got a little off track in direction at first and came in for a rest but after about a minute they were ready to go back out and were pros after that.
My favorite part of the day was watching the view in front of me, their little legs and bodies swimming in front of me.
I loved when they saw a fish and would start shouting through their snorkel. They did this especially when they saw "DORY!" from Finding Nemo the movie.
I could have watched them over the coral reef and fish all day long.
Brody was a great helper and kindly stayed with us and didn't swim off. I'm sure he would have liked to explore a little more than he did.
The boat ride to the next snorkel spot on the reef was filled with laughter. Mali Su also told us all about the barracuda she saw (she really did). I love listening to Mali Su tell stories and the way she talks with her hands.
Brody had the kids jump in instead of taking the ladder this time. They rocked it!
I just kept thinking how I wish Jake was there too so I flashed an "I love you" for him.
Even the plant life on the reef is beautiful. There are so many colors and the purple plants seem to wave and say "Hi" in the water as you swim over.
I love that we've had the opportunity to snorkel the only living coral reef in the continental US.
