We woke up and it was FREEZING at Camp Blanding. I changed him into warm pajamas so he couldn't take anything off and get cold. He threw a huge fit over not having on this TOY STORY shirt we recently found. I picked it up and asked him if he wanted to wear it and he said he did so I put it on him and we were happy once again as he pointed at the characters telling me (in gibberish) who they were.
Today at Jake's classroom he licked the floor. We used a wipe and cleaned his tongue. When we went outside he laid in the soft red dirt, laid in it. If anything is filthy he flocks to it. I don't get it.
This boy is giving us a run for our money. He has come into the FIT stage of life and it is exhausting. He has a funny personality though so somehow he's got a way of making it all ok.
He can still mangle a pair of glasses, but now I am over it. No use crying over (the 50th pair) broken glasses. At least now it takes about a week instead of an hour. He can now put them on himself, yay for little victories!
He says, "Ma Ma!" about a million times a day. Luckily for me when we saw Uncle Beau unexpectedly over the weekend he found a new friend and name to call out, "BEAU!" He will eat anything Beau gives him and acts like we are not around when Beau is.
He loves to show us things that he can do. He will lead my by the hand and it's precious.
He loves to get anywhere in the car but his seat. He runs to the back if you don't catch him and wants to sit with the girls. I like it better when he tries to drive, it's easier to catch him.
He only gets a bottle before bed but in a rush out the door this morning I put some V8 fusion in a bottle for his "breakfast" but then forgot it so when we got home for dinner he saw it and Daddy let him have it. This is his new "thing" when he gets ahold of a bottle. He uses no hands and lets the table do the work. He did it at dinner with Uncle Beau too.
Solomon you are almost 2! 2! Guess that explains the fits.
